Campuses and gated communities have characteristics that resemble a small town. However, unlike citizens of a regular town, the members of these communities unite to share resources among themselves, enabling them to implement communication infrastructures that allow self-management with a lower cost per individual member.
As a primary contractor to all the Kibutz communities in Israel, Rotal Networks, has extensive experience in the implementation of communication infrastructure for gated communities and campuses. It started its gated community’s activities by deploying infrastructure for video communications (namely TV) and went on to implement data and voice services for most of Israel’s gated communities and campuses. Today, Rotal Networks has moved on to deploy fiber optic infrastructures (FTTH) that delivers ultra fast data, video, and voice (telephony) communications to the member’s homes with speeds of over Giga bit per second. Rotal Networks offers a turn-key solution, from the design to the implementation and on to providing maintenance and support.
Rotal Networks offers advanced multi-play services on flexible and cost effective FTTx network solutions based on various technologies (e.g. GPON, RFoG, and Active Ethernet). These solutions enable delivery of multiple applications on a single fiber, including TV channels, high speed Internet, VoIP, IPTV, Wi-Fi, and security services. As part of the solution, Rotal Networks deploys an optical network that delivers TV/Telephony/Data communications to the home of the community members.
