Optical transmission solutions enable the delivery of video, audio, and data over any type of infrastructure, including fiber optics, twisted pair, IP, coax, wireless, and microwave. Rotal Networks’ optical transmission solutions are designed to operate under extreme environmental conditions for transmission of analog and digital services.
The solutions can be implemented in various applications including security and surveillance, video teleconferencing, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and observation systems.
Optical Transmitters - The optical transmitter translates the electrical (analog & digital) signal from the head-end into an optical signal suitable for distribution. This signal is transmitted within the 1550nm wavelength band in order to allow optical amplification of this signal.
Transceivers - a device that has both a transmitter and a receiver which are combined and share common circuitry or a single housing.
